We Dance ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your personal information is collected, used, and disclosed by We Dance.
We collect information you provide to us, such as your name, email address, your child's name and date of birth, and the files you or our teachers upload: class practice videos, practice-diary posts, award photos and certificates, and attachments in class messages.
We use the information to provide dance training services, feedback, and manage your school account. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Videos and photos are stored with Supabase Storage, our cloud database provider, in a data centre in Sydney, Australia.
Today, several of our storage buckets are set to public. Anyone who has a file's link can open it, and for some of these buckets the list of files can currently be read by anyone with the app's public key. The school is working on changing this. Files that may show children are in these public buckets: "lesson-media" (class practice videos sent by teachers, and the practice videos, award photos and certificates families upload from the Growth page), "plog-files" (practice-diary posts), "class-messages" (photos, videos and audio attached to class messages), "birthday-videos" (birthday greeting videos), "awards" (award images), "email-media" (trial-class photos and newsletter images), "comp-images" (competition, exam and stage photos, troupe emblems and social-media images) and "avatars" (account profile photos). When we send the school newsletter, Moments photos that families have consented to share are copied into "email-media" so they can appear in the email.
Links are shared with the teacher who uploaded the file, the families of the students in that class (in the app and by email) and school staff.
Class photos in "Moments" are stored in a private bucket ("class-moments") and are shown only to the families of students in that class, under each family's photo consent setting.
Retention: there is currently no automatic deletion. Files are kept until the school sets a retention rule or a parent asks us to remove them. You can ask us to remove any video or photo of your child at any time at [email protected].

目前我们有几个存储桶是公开的：拿到文件链接的人都能打开；其中一部分桶的文件清单目前也能被持有 App 公开密钥的人读到。学校正在整改。可能含有孩子影像的公开桶有："lesson-media"（老师发的课堂练习视频，以及家长在成长页上传的练习视频、获奖照片和证书）、"plog-files"（练舞日记）、"class-messages"（班级留言里的照片、视频和音频）、"birthday-videos"（生日祝福视频）、"awards"（奖项图片）、"email-media"（试课照片和校报图片）、"comp-images"（比赛、考级和舞台照片、舞团徽章和社媒图片）和 "avatars"（账号头像照片）。发校报时，家长已授权分享的「瞬间」照片会被复制到 "email-media"，以便在邮件里显示。
链接会发给上传文件的老师、这个班学生的家庭（App 内和邮件）以及学校员工。
「瞬间」里的课堂照片存放在私有存储桶（"class-moments"），只按每个家庭的照片授权设置显示给本班家庭。
保存期限：目前没有自动删除，文件会一直保留，直到学校定出保存规则，或家长要求删除。您可以随时写信到 [email protected] 要求删除您孩子的任何视频或照片。
